70 years MMM – Anniversary celebration

On May 21, the day MMM was founded, Michael Koller and the MMM managing directors invited around 150 guests from Germany and abroad. The managing directors from the subsidiaries came from France, Great Britain, Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Our long-standing business partners, bank representatives, political officials and friends of the company attended the celebration and ceremony at the Innovision Center in Weiherhammer. This sent out a strong signal for the MMM production site in Stadlern in the Upper Palatinate.

Martin Schöffel, Member of the State Parliament (MdL) and State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home Affairs, praised the entrepreneurial courage with which the small family business had developed into an internationally active company in his welcoming address. Today, the Stadlern site contributes to strengthening the Bavarian-Bohemian economic area.

Gerald Reiter, 1st Mayor of Stadlern, conveyed the municipality’s congratulations to Michael Koller and presented him with a film about the construction of the plant in Stadlern in 1964 as a gift.

Michael Koller, sole owner of MMM, outlined the history of MMM and also addressed the two main challenges associated with maintaining and further developing our plant in Stadlern: the shortage of skilled workers and the inadequate infrastructure in the region. He thanked the managers and employees who have helped shape MMM’s success story and summarized this idea with the motto “Together we are strong”.
