The shareholders’ meeting of MMM GmbH has announced the appointment of Ulrich Krauß as of 01.03.2024 and Dr. Christian Heuer as of 01.04.2024 as new Managing Directors. Together with the Managing Directors Dr. Thomas Denner, Robert Eibl and Michael Geutler, the two will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of MMM. Once the precise responsibilities within the new management team have been agreed and determined in May, the corresponding structure of the future organization will be defined and communicated.
Ulrich Krauß worked for Carl Zeiss for more than 20 years in various management positions in Germany and abroad and gained extensive experience in the medical technology, laboratory and biotech industries. As CEO and member of the Executive Board of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, he contributed to its development into one of the world’s leading solution providers in ophthalmology. At Analytik Jena, he was responsible for the strategic and organisational development and the focus on the core business. He is looking forward to returning to medical technology and his new role at MMM.
Dr. Christian Heuer holds a doctorate in technical chemistry from the Technical University of Berlin. He began his career in process development at Novartis Pharma AG in Basel and now has 30 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical production, life science and medical technology sectors. Through his management activities for Belimed, Müller Group and Optima pharma, he not only has extensive management experience and industry knowledge, but also profound technical expertise.
